Dear Reader,

Letters From Liza was created for the benefit of children-to engage their minds in reading while encouraging their imaginations. Many of the adventures mirror those of my own two sons and our family’s chocolate Labrador Retriever. Others are drawn from my more than 30 years as an elementary school teacher, reading specialist, and administrator. 
It is my hope that each reader will enjoy Letters From Liza, read and re-read the stories, and identify with the characters as they learn. Each chapter is a letter to kids from the dog’s perspective.
